This book is magnificent, and is the best thing you could give to yourself (and no, it is NOT a diet book. It’s a book about how to treat your body like the temple it is, just exactly what it means to be healthy, and the little things you should be doing that can make a world of difference to your happiness. The author looks at the ways our bodies work at a cellular level, emphasizes the importance of movement, as well as the myths and misconceptions about nutrition that have been confusing the hell out of us for year.
As someone who is very fascinated with fitness (and good health, overall), I have nothing but the highest of recommendations for this book. Everything you need to know about understanding your body, your mind, and how to be the best, healthiest you that you can be is explained in the simplest, most fun, way. For anyone looking to better themselves, this is the book for you.
